Organic black Colombian tea
Colombia, well know for its coffee production, started producing tea in the 1950s when the Department of Agriculture were trying to diversified the elements in the Colombian Agriculture, bringing in the first tea trees from Brazil. The trees were taken to three different regions in Colombia (Valle del Cauca, Cundinamarca and Santander).
This tea is grown in volcanic rich soil high up in the Andean Mountains. The tea has a fresh bold taste with a slight hint on honey sweetness. A must have for all tea enthusiast.
